MINN Conference: Decolonizing Development Education
From January to May 2024, the University of Minnesota’s Masters of Development Practice (MDP) community embarked upon a learning journey focused on decolonization and a series of deep engagements designed to foster collaborative examination of current practices and future opportunities for decolonizing development practice education. During this session, audience members will learn about our collaborative design approach and strategies used to foster equitable access and participation. We will share our practices for engaging faculty, alumni, staff, and current students through in-person and remote sessions that sought to enable examination of and reflection on the program experience and future form.
